Personal Injuries Board Fees for Respondents Reduced by 30%

On Monday of this week, Minister for Jobs Enterprise and innovation, Richard Bruton announced that the fees charged by the Personal Injuries Assessment Board will be reduced by 30 per cent from €850 to €600.The reduction applies immediately to the fee charged to respondents to personal injury claims, and the new rate is aimed at enabling reductions for holders of insurance policies, in particular businesses and consumers who hold motor, employer and public liability insurance.The €45 fee payable by claimants remains unchanged.The full text of the press release is attached here http://www.enterprise.gov.ie/News/30_reduction_in_Injuries_Board_fees_from_€850_to_€600_8211;_Minister_Bruton.html
