The new monetary jurisdictions in the district and Circuit Court will come into effect on 3rd February 2014.The new District Court jurisdiction in civil proceedings will increase from €6384 to €15,000The new Circuit Court jurisdiction in civil proceedings will increase from 38.092 to €75,000 except in personal injury cases where a reduced increase of €60,000 will apply.We will update our readers in due course of new changes to District Court and Superior Court rules.
